Welcome to Mill Town Roasters (MTR)! We’re your local roaster located here in Freddy Beach, NB, specializing in small batch coffee roasting. We began this roasting journey in January 2019 with a vision of producing quality coffee in every cup. That’s why our coffee is carefully hand-picked, sorted, milled, graded, dried, shipped and then roasted by us. We take great care to ensure we source and select exquisite coffees that are stunning examples of their place of origin with an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of flavour. Once our coffee is roasted, we focus on tasting every single batch, no matter how small, to ensure quality in every cup. Our philosophy here at MTR is simple: may the best taste win.

When you stop by our downtown location, be sure to snag one of our freshly prepared cinnamon buns (we’re told they’re some of the best on the East Coast of Canada), or one of our house prepared sandwiches (Smoked Meat on Rye, Brisket Sourdough or a classic grilled cheese).  We’ve got a vast selection of baked goods, all of which pair great with our specialty coffee, oh and did we mention, FREE WIFI?
