Science East Science Centre

One of the most unique tourist attractions in Canada! New Brunswick’s science centre offers family fun and learning with a mix of hands-on and interactive exhibits exploring how the world works! Science East is located in a 179-year old former colonial-era jail. The jail was decommissioned in 1996. Explore this incredible history and discover the story of New Brunswick’s groundbreaking role in crime scene investigation (CSI) in Canada in our basement-level museum.

Science East offers science clubs, programs, worksho9ps and science demos for visiting schools, groups and tours. Overnight Science Sleepovers, birthday parties and camps during March Break and throughout summer are also available. The creative atmosphere of the science centre provides inspiring and well-equipped rental spaces with a full menu of technical equipment for meetings, team-building and special occasions.
